baseball team hot dog bar

It’s playoff season! If you are a big fan of the game, I know you are on the edge of your seat right now. But no matter your favorite team, you gotta eat, am I right? And if you are gonna eat, then Hot Dogs should be on the menu.

baseball team hot dog barWe came up with this Baseball Team hot dog bar so you can really show your team spirit! Because if you are a hard core Dodgers fan, why not flaunt it with guacamole and bean sprouts on your dog?

Without adding in any wild card teams, we came up with toppings for the six teams that are for sure on the schedule:

Washington Nationals = hard boiled eggs (because “egg on your face” goes well with politics these days) and a grain of salt (wink wink)

Boston Red Sox = Baked beans

Texas Rangers = pulled pork and salsa

Cleveland Indians = our faux polish dog, with cole slaw, potato chips and a dash of hot sauce

Chicago Cubs = tomatoes, onions, relish and dill pickles

Los Angeles Dodgers = guacamole and bean sprouts

Barbecue those dogs for optimum flavor, and set out small bowls filled with all your toppings. Be sure to offer bottles of ketchup and mustard. We served our dogs in baseball themed paper food trays and adorned them with personalized 2″circles all from our Baseball party collection. So festive! And of course, so affordable. Lastly, we added a bowl of Lucky Charms, because sprinkling some on your dog may just make the difference between winning the World Series and wallowing till next year.
