Thanksgiving Appetizers

I have a HUGE family. And in our family, Thanksgiving is always, HUGE. So while most of the guests sit and watch a little football, I like to make sure they have a couple of yummy Thanksgiving Appetizers to choose from. Now, these are no ordinary Thanksgiving Appetizers. They are both very distinct – with one for the grownups, and one for the kids – and both are VERY yummy! We’ve paired our pair of hors d’oeuvres with our set of Mod Fall printable decorations from our shop… festive, right?

For the Kids:

Grilled Muenster Sandwiches
Ingredients:
Sliced sourdough bread
Sliced muenster cheese
butter
bbq sauce

Butter one side of each slice of bread for the outsides of the sandwich. Place a slice of the muenster cheese between the slices, on the non-buttered side. The sandwich can be toasted in a frying pan on top of the stove, under the broiler or in a panini press. I like to pretend my George Forman is a panini press! Cut sandwiches into four pieces and insert a decorative toothpick for easy grabbing. Place a small bowl of bbq sauce on the sandwich platter for those who dare to dip.

For the Grown Ups:
