The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming and the season for entertaining has arrived! Before you even start the menu planning, how about a little Paper Straw Craft inspiration?

Paper straws are not only inexpensive, but they are everywhere – from Amazon to Target and so many shops in between. Choose your favorite color and pattern, and buy a pack or two (depending on the size of your vessel). Speaking of your vessel, we used an old scratched rectangular glass vase, and attached the straws with hot glue. You can really use almost anything (how about a soup can!), as long as it is waterproof or if you can insert something waterproof. Wrap a little ribbon around it, and fill it with cut flowers.

We filled our new paper straw craft with tulips, and set the table with pink polka dot cloth napkins, vintage flatware, square appetizer plates and fluted cake stands. Wouldn’t this be perfect for that little impromptu coffee and cake get together, served up on an outdoor table?
